Proposal Information - Library Concert Series

If you would like to be considered for a performance in our concert series, please follow the guidelines below.

Please consider the following:

  1. Presenting a performance that is educational (for example: sharing interesting aspects of a particular instrument, a genre of music, or a composer; either as part of the presentation or within program notes)
  2. Presenting a performance that is accessible to a wide range of audience members
  3. Presenting a performance that resonates with a particular holiday or with other events that are occurring simultaneously at the Boulder Public Library.

Please submit the following:

  1. A letter describing your proposed performance, in as much detail as possible
  2. Performer's resumes/biographies
  3. A high quality cassette recording or compact disc

The Concerts Committee meets quarterly and will get back to you within six months. The Boulder Public Library is currently scheduling concerts one year in advance.
