In accordance with the Purpose and Policy Statement of the Boulder Public Library Internet access is offered as a service to all library users for the purpose of broadening the spectrum of information resources available in our library. Use of the Internet and sites chosen for the Library’s Web site uphold American Library Association guidelines.*
Individual Internet use will not be monitored by Library staff, although it must comply with library rules. Some information on the Internet may be found offensive, inaccurate, or inappropriate by individuals. Parents, guardians, or care givers of minors are responsible for their children's use of the Internet. The Boulder Public Library is not responsible for information accessed on the Internet. Users should read and follow Boulder Public Library's Acceptable Use Policy for Electronic Resources.

All users of electronic information resources at the Boulder Public Library are expected to use these resources in a responsible and ethical manner that is consistent with the Purpose and Policy Statement of the Boulder Public Library.
Compliance with copyright and licensing laws is required.
Boulder Public Library Staff cannot provide personalized training. Computer terminals are available by a reservation management system.
The Boulder Public Library does not offer individual e-mail accounts or access to Internet newsgroups. We reserve the right to restrict Internet protocols and functions, such as telnet, at our discretion.
