Humor Writing Group

Please note: the last meeting of the Humor Writing Group was be July 19.

JUST WRITE - Creative writing sessions for teens

This workshop is divided into "Junior" and "Senior" groups, both hosted by professional adult writers. The one-hour workshops feature writing exercises involving poetry, short stories, personal narrative, fiction, non-fiction, song writing, and more. Drop-ins are welcome.

Location: Both groups meet in the Boulder Public Library Teen Art Gallery
Times: The Junior group for ages 11-14 meets every Saturday, noon-1 p.m.
The Senior group for ages 13-18 meets every Saturday, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Tuesday Fiction Writers

TFW provides dedicated fiction writers a supportive and critical environment to share their work. Participants learn from critiquing others and receive feedback on their own submissions.  The group meets on second and fourth Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Note that the group has meetings in 2008 that are not in the Main Library. The group meets on March 25, 2008 at the Reynolds Branch Library (3595 Table Mesa Drive), and on August 26, 2008 and September 9, 2008 at the Meadows Branch Library (directly behind Safeway in the Meadows Shopping Center at Baseline and Foothills Parkway).

Location: Boulder Creek Meeting Room at the Main Library.
